Luther Home of Mercy and the Vail Meadows Therapeutic Riding Center have created a unique equine-based day program for adults living with mental retardation and/or developmental disabilities. Volunteers are needed in assisting residents with the care and grooming of horses and stable care. Also, we are looking for volunteers to assist residents in various centers such as arts and crafts, sewing, gardening, music, etc. weekdays from 9:30-11:30a.m.or from 1:00-2:30p.m. Do you have some special talents you would like to teach others...cooking...quilting...line dancing...beading...scrap booking...martial arts...just to name a few. Sharing your talents will help our program grow!
