Description:
The Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross has been a vital part of our community since its formation in 1989, through the union of the Hillsborough and Chapel Hill/Carrboro Chapters, both of which were chartered in 1917. For the last 90 years, our local Red Cross chapter has addressed the needs of our community in providing disaster relief, communication to military personnel and their families, health and safety courses, and blood services. We also provide disaster support throughout the state and region.
