Vision ACE’s vision is to create a culture of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinkers that take action to improve socio-economic conditions in order to support and sustain diverse family systems.
History:
Adult & Children Enterprises (ACE) was founded in Fayetteville, NC in 1991. For 17 years the organization has provided training and technical assistance to more than 1500 youth and families in the Piedmont area. ACE prepares low income youth and adults to take advantage of developing economic opportunity through technology training, and entrepreneurship education. ACE currently has three programming initiatives: The Culture Town K-5 21st Century Learning Centers which provides academic enrichment by way of Arts/Entrepreneurship education; Students in Technology and Entrepreneurial Programming (S.T.E.P. ™) a Youth Small Business Incubator which provides technology and entrepreneurship education to students in grades 6-12; and Extending the Road which provides technology careers training, and entrepreneurship education to individual’s age 16 through adult.
