Provides programs and services for people with developmental disabilities and their families from birth through the senior years. The Arc accomplishes this through a quality delivery model and collaboration with community agencies and businesses.
Description:
The Arc of Orange County provides a variety of programs to support individuals with developmental disabilities in our community. Programs include supported employment, health and wellness classes, post secondary opportunities, adult programs for self advocacy and financial guidance, respite support to families, Medicaid services, funds to families for unmet needs, parent meetings and general advocacy and information.
History:
The Arc has been serving families for over 50 years. We currently provide services within a collaborative model for all Orange County residents. We have increased our membership to include over 200 families and 50 local businesses.
