Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are always needed at the APS. Volunteers may choose to work directly with the animals doing a number of tasks including washing bowls, walking dogs, cleaning cat cages, socializing cats and kittens. Volunteers may also help our front desk by answering phones and assisting the public.
We also have committees dedicated to fundraising and humane education.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. (Limited opportunities are available for ages 13-17 if accompanied by a parent/guardian). We ask for a 6 month commitment and a minimum of 8 hours per month. Volunteers must attend an Orientation and then complete at least 4 hours of training.
