Harleyville-Ridgeville Elementary School strives to create a safe, inviting learning environment for all our children. Many of our staff have deep ties to the area and all strive to make each child feel valued and loved.

Description:
Harleyville-Ridgeville Elementary School is located in the town of Dorchester in upper Dorchester County. The school serves students from Harleyville (six miles west) and Ridgeville (six miles east) as well as outlying communities. Because our population is predominantly low socioeconomic we qualify as a Title One school.

History:
Harleyville-Ridgeville Elementary School is one of five schools in Dorchester District Four. There are approximately five hundred students. Our school is diverse in ethnicity. Our building is an old building but we pride ourselves in keeping it clean and welcoming yet there are some things we have been unable to accomplish with limited funds and limited manpower. We are hoping that someone will graciously
see our project and give us a much appreciated hand.
