Increasing H.O.P.E is an educational training organization committed to meeting the needs of people living in financial distress in our community. The organization conducts financial literacy training designed to meet the needs of all people regardless of ethnicity and socio-economic background. The training is comprised of classroom based training along with workbooks, CD-ROM, and web-based financial literacy training aids that will help individuals and families learn personal finance skills, how to manage credit and debt, and how to become successful homeowners.

History:
Since 2003, Dorothea Bernique founder of Increasing H.O.P.E (Helping Others Prosper Economically) has been providing financial literacy educational opportunities to the local community. Increasing H.O.P.E was born out of a passion to see individuals and families become educated, enriched and empowered in the area of personal finance. In order to have a greater impact on the communities served Increasing H.O.P.E has become a community-based 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina. H.O.P.E provides financial literacy educational services throughout the tri-county area for children and adults.
