Ashley River Creative Arts, in partnership with parents and community, will provide all students the opportunity to reach their maximum potential through an arts integrated academic curriculum providing relevant, diverse, and challenging learning experiences in a safe and positive environment.

Description:
Ashley River Creative Arts is a magnet elementary school in the West Ashley area of Charleston County. We serve the students of West Ashley. We are a part of the Charleston County School District and are required to teach the same standards as any elementary school in the state. We take a different approach to the delivery of those standards. We use the arts as tools to teach and provide our students with a well rounded, critical thinking, project based curriculum.

History:
We are beginning our 22nd year as a magnet school for the District. The building is much older. It was the old Wallace High and Middle School.
