The mission of E.L. Frierson Elementary School is to educate, empower and enrich the lives of children by providing a hands-on approach to learning and a safe environment where parents and teachers support children as they explore an integrated, culturally diverse, and innovative curriculum that fosters critical thinking creativity.

Description:
Frierson is an elementary school for children in grades ECDP (3 year old) thru 6th grade (12 years old) that has been in existence for over 79 years.

History:
In 1926, Edith L. Frierson was the sole teacher and principal of the one-room school named Rockville Elementary at that time. She stayed at the school for over 48 years. The school was renamed E.L. Frierson in 1974.
