Through education, advocacy and outreach, Rural Mission respectively provides a lifting hand - spiritually, emotionally, physically, economically - whatever the need, ministering with compassion to anyone on the SC Sea Islands (Johns, Wadmalaw, Yonges & Edisto Islands).

Our volunteer workteams provide the materials and labor to help renovate or build homes for the elderly or low income single parent families. Many families live in substandard homes.
History:
Rural Mission, Inc. was founded in 1969. It is a non-profit organization providing human services to low-income Sea Island families (Johns, Wadmalaw, Yonges and Edisto Islands) and migrant farmworkers.
