Greater Columbia Chapter's Repair Sessions

This Chapter serves the Greater Columbia area and repairs homes. Homeowners living in poverty will have repairs made which may include wheelchair ramps, roofs, paint, walls, doors and more. Skilled adults are especially needed to lead the youth. Adult volunteers will serve as mentors for the youth, assist with the construction tasks and be available as a role model.

Volunteers will work with the following groups
Disabled / Ill  Minorities
Families / Parents  Older Adults (55+)
Low-income / Poverty
We need volunteers who are free at these times
Weekends
This volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers
Adolescents (13-17)  Individual
Adults (26-54)  Large Group (11+)
Adults (55+)  Small Group (2-10)
Court-appointed  Unpaid Interns
Families  Young Adults (18-25)

 The repair sessions are held in various cities. In the state of SC, the cities include: Johns Island, Wadmalaw Island, Cayce, Columbia, Aiken County, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Charleston, Greenville County, Spartanburg, West Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, Camden and a few other smaller cities are assisted as able.
