Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on June 10, 2009 |
Volunteers are the heart of ITN. We need volunteers to help older adults have freedom and mobility to go where they want, when they want, at affordable rates. Volunteer drivers make an indelible impact on the lives of Lowcountry seniors, helping them to remain fully engaged and active in the community. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and they can store credits for their own future use or donate credits to a friend or to the scholarship fund for low-income members. Volunteer drivers must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver's license, have a minimum of three years of driving experience, have a clean background check and motor vehicle driving record and complete a driver training class. This opportunity is sponsored by: Independent Transportation Network (ITNCharlestonTrident)
