Are you a relationship builder? Interested in impacting the local community? We are looking for Community Outreach Volunteers!

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on August 19, 2009

Imagine the shock and the worry of a young pregnant teenager when she realized that caring for her baby could cost her three to seven thousand dollars in just the first year! Now imagine the relief that young girl found after she went through a class with Increasing H.O.P.E. and developed a budget and a spending plan to assist her in providing all that she wanted to for her baby.

Increasing H.O.P.E. held a seminar just last week at Florence Crittenton where we were able to help young pregnant women recognize the financial costs of caring for a baby and assisted them in developing budgets and spending plans.

Increasing H.O.P.E. has impacted the lives of many other people in our community through partnerships with local churches, prisons, women's centers, and local businesses, other nonprofit organizations and individuals in transitional programs, as well as through holding classes open to the public at our own facilities.

However, we haven't reached everyone yet! We need volunteers to help us develop relationships with churches and other community programs and organizations so that we can provide classes and seminars to every individual!

A volunteer must have a good attitude! We are flexible with schedules. For a Church and Community Outreach Coordinator. proper phone etiquette and good communication skills would be best.
