Help out a local family by keeping their loved one company while they run errands or catch a movie! Make a friend while helping out someone who really needs the break! You could also buy dinner fixings for the family to have a meal b/c they don't often have the chance to cook a decent meal. You might even help make and serve the dinner! Our families really need help and support during this journey at the end of their lives. Many families are overwhelmed and overburdened and may simply need a break to get away. We all get a little stir crazy, don't we?! As a bonus, you will make the day of the person you are sitting with by helping to break up their everyday routine.

You do not need to be 18 to volunteer! Orientation and health screening required.
