Navigating the Site Tips and Hints - "myHome" is your headquarters. From here you can access everything you need, including

- Inquiries/referrals you've made about volunteer or donation opportunities

- As with most websites, remember that there is usually more than one way to move around the site and to accomplish tasks.
Search: - Choose a "keyword" from the drop-down menu.
- Type in a "keyword" like "children" or "environment." [NOTE: The keyword search must match exactly the taxonomy of the site.]

Agencies: This link allows you to explore all agencies and schools that have registered on the site. Opportunities: You can go directly to the opportunities that have been posted by agencies and schools, with an additional alphabetical search. Gift Match: From this link, your area able to discover what items agencies need to better serve the community. You can also post items you think may be useful to local helping organizations. Your Profile: This link allows you to manage various aspects of your "user" account, including your contact information and your search profiles. More Tips and Hints See lots of potential opportunities but not quite ready to choose? Select the "Add to Favorites" options on the specific opportunity description. Your list will apear on the bottom right hand side of the search engine's home ("Welcome") page. Click "I'm interested in this opportunity" to contact agencies directly through the system with a pre-written message. Include your phone # if you'd like a call from the agency. [NOTE: Choosing "I'm interested in this opportunity" does NOT automatically sign you up for the opportunity.] The newest listings are always posted on the right side of the search ("Welcome") page. Check it out periodically to make sure you're not missing a great opportunity! You can email a friend to share your selections. When viewing an opportunity, choose "View Detailed Information" to find out even more. Choose the name of an agency to read about the mission and history.
