Jewish Family Service's mission is "to strengthen individuals and families and educate communities through counseling, care management and community education." We serve families and individuals of all faiths.
Description:
The Jewish Family Service (JFS) is a social service agency offering four distinct programs. Project Encourage is dedicated to minimizing the debilitating effects of isolation, loneliness and to prevent premature institutionalization of the elderly in our community. Emigre services assists seniors from the former Soviet Union. Connecting the Dots is a Substance Abuse Prevention program (one hour) for Parents and Guardians. The agency also offers individual, family and counseling and care management services on a sliding fee scale.
History:
For 125 years Jewish Family Services has provided the highest quality of care and support to individuals and families in Utah. People of all faiths rely on JFS's staff of highly trained professionals and dedicated volunteers for help in times of need.
