To provide comprehensive services for at risk youth within the framework of the Balanced and Restorative Justice Model. Community protection, accountability and competency development are integrated goals and philosophical foundations of the model.
Description:
Volunteer opportunities include vocational, leisure, and skill based training for at risk youth. Volunteer may conduct a group, workshop, or one-time presentation. Opportunities for one on one, or group mentoring in supervised settings may be available. Available volunteer job descriptions include tutor, mentor, clergy, students, guest speakers, education (i.e. art, music, yoga, employment skills...), holiday help, community professionals, etc. *Please note all volunteers must be over 21 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check provided at no cost by our agency.
