After School Program Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on July 30, 2009

Just one or two hours each week can make a real difference in a young person's life. As a volunteer, it can make a real difference in your life too. The benefits include: positively impacting the lives of local area youth, becoming a role model, developing relationships with members, helping to provide a fun and safe environment for young people, demonstrating your commitment to helping the community, gaining valuable life experiences and skills, and meeting new people. A variety of opportunities are available to match your interests, availability and desired location. Start the process by completing an application today at www.bgcwd.org under Get Involved.

Volunteers at Boys & Girls Clubs get the training and support they need to be a successful part of our clubs and the lives of our members. Our volunteers need to be consistent, caring, flexible and motivated to work with kids. All volunteers must be 16 years or older, and required to complete an application, conduct an interview, and pass a background check.
