Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We need friendly and gracious hosts and hostesses to help man our Cabaret of Fools fund raiser each year on the Saturday evening closest to April Fools Day (April 3rd in 2010) at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center. We are raising money for our educational and artistic programming at Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, founded in 1964.

You will be asked to dress up a little, greet guests, sign them in to the party, and answer questions. You will also be asked to help check them out at the end of the evening, including cashing out their auction items and making sure that they have the items they won in the auction.

Other volunteers will be needed to help us set up and clean up as well as help with children dancers before and after they perform at the event. Other activities may become available.

Must be charming and trustworthy with greeting guests. If handling cash they will need to be interviewed by the Dir. of Development and trained in the duties of the job by a board member. Must be willing to have lots of fun. After all, this has been called the "Party of the Year."
