Citizens For Animal Protection

Organization Details:

Citizens For Animal Protection

We believe that cruelty and neglect of all creatures is vicious, immoral and senseless. We are dedicated to doing everything within the limits of our resources to protect animals from inhumane treatment and suffering.

Description:
We promote a variety of programs, stressing both the moral and practical need for public concern in the area of animal welfare. We promote responsible pet guardianship. We believe the companion pet is an intelligent being consigned to the care of mankind which should command the respect of our society. Animal population control is one of the most important areas in which we are involved. We endeavor to make the public aware of the tragedy of the pet overpopulation crises through education. Each and every individual is responsible to see that their pet is spayed or neutered.

History:
We are a 501-c-3 non-profit organization founded in 1972 for benevolent, charitable and educational purposes for the protection of animals.
