Volunteers are an integral part of the CIS mission. They bring new perspectives and energy to campuses and aid staff members with the supervision of students. Volunteers work directly with students and staff on the campuses by: • Tutoring • Mentoring • Helping with college and scholarship applications • Organizing activities for the students Individuals may also volunteer at the central office and provide: • Administrative support • Computer work
Volunteers are required to attend an organization orientation, on-site training, and pass a back ground check. This opportunity is sponsored by: Communities In Schools Houston, Inc
