Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Holcombe House Volunteers support the Manager on Duty in the day-to-day operations of the Welcome Desk and Family Registration Desk. These volunteers provide services directly to families by routing all calls coming in on the main phone line, screening and registering all visitors, checking families in and out of the House, restocking empty rooms in preparation for the arrival of a new family, and giving House tours.

Holcombe House Volunteers make a 6 month commitment. Volunteer opportunities are available from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. seven days a week. Shifts are scheduled in 3 hour time blocks.

∙ 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
∙ 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
∙ 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
∙ 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Holcombe House Volunteers work two shifts a month for a total of 6 hours a month.

Bilingual volunteers are especially needed to communicate with our Spanish speaking families.
