Disaster Action Teams provide disaster services after-hours and on weekends. The two-member teams are on-call for two week periods and average 1 call per two-week period. The teams work with disaster clients to determine the steps to recovery and begin the process by providing emergency needs which may include lodging, food, and financial assistance for clothing or personal items. Training requirements include First aid and CPR Introduction to Disaster Damage Assessment Mass Care Individual Client Services ALL DISASTER COURSES ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

Following the signs to the Alexandria Airport, turn onto Vandenburg Rd from Hwy 28 West. Continue through the traffic light on Vandenburg into the airport entrance. Take the first left (beside the golf club). At the end of the road take a right onto Billy Mitchell Blvd. The Red Cross is the first building on the right.
