Newly sober individuals realized if they were to remain sober they would require the support of other individuals who choose to live life in sobriety. In no time at all individuals seeking help for active alcoholism began to drop by the center to inquire about where individuals had gone to get sober. The name Addiction Referral Center originated. As years pasted by chemically dependent individuals also needed the same services and support throughout the years ARC evolved into a multifaceted organization providing substance abuse services incorporating specialized referrals and placement. ARC serves 450 non duplicated individuals weekly. individuals are seeking service to maintain sobriety or to locate services to assist them to get sober. Throughout the years the need for family support was recognized and incorporated into our services.
