Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on September 15, 2009 |
We have a group home with several young adults with mental health/developmental delays issues who have little to no family supports. We are looking for people to come in, even once, and give some time, knowledge, and energy. Any activity would be very helpful. You could invite them for a meal, a holiday celebration, share your knowledge of music, or teach them about the environment or the arts. These young adults would like to learn many things and would respond warmly to positive human interactions. Your impact on their young lives would be a huge benefit. Give a little and get a lot in return; the satisfaction that you made a lasting difference! A CORI check is required. This opportunity is sponsored by: Advocates, Inc.
