Volunteer Ombudsman will complete an initial training and attend monthly meetings. Our volunteers will attend continuing-ed courses and re-certification courses. Certified Volunteer Ombudsman will visit designated long term care facility. They will work with nursing facility staff to address complaints and concerns of residents. Volunteers will submit monthly documentation to Program Director. Our volunteers will possess good interpersonal skills. Our volunteers will be able to travel to the designated facility at least 2 times monthly. Travel reimbursement is available.
