This full-time stipend position will focus on assisting individuals, non-profits, schools and businesses to understand the full use of VolunteerMaine's web-based www.VolunteerMaine.org system to increase community volunteerism.  This person will also have the opportunity to provide training and technical assistance to volunteers and volunteer managers and explore the creation of a "Volunteer Center without Walls" and an ongoing regional volunteer recognition program.  There will be multiple VISTA's working on these and related topics across the state, so the opportunity for group projects exists. Training, supervision and support will all be provided.
