In recognition of National Sexual Assault Awareness month, SASSMM presents a fiber art exhibit entitled I’m Nobody: A Journey of Healing, Weaving Truth with Trust, Illustrating Woven Words of Emily Dickinson, by artist Susan M. Hess. The exhibit of twenty-four woven tapestries and Dickinson’s poetry follow the journey of Hess’ healing process and recovery from childhood abuse. SASSMM will host the opening reception and book signing on Friday, April 4 from 5:00–8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by contacting SASSMM at administration@sassmm.org, or at the door. All proceeds from the opening reception will benefit SASSMM. The exhibit will be shown April 2–April 30 at Bowdoin College, Lamarche Gallery at Smith Union.
