Description:
The goal of A-med Community Hospice is to provide a high quality, comprehensive, palliative care program dedicated to promoting comfort and quality of life for clients and families facing a terminal illness. In recognition that facing a life limiting disease is much more than a physical experience, A-Med utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide services for their clients and families. As human beings, we experience emotional and spiritual losses as well as physical during the dying process. Through meeting the numerous needs of the clients and families, we strive to enable the client to live life to the fullest extent possible and the family to adjust to life after their loss.

History:
A-Med Community Hospice began providing hospice services in the San Antonio area in September 2004. A-Med had been providing home health care in San Antonio for over ten years.
