The GRASP Food Pantry in Converse serves as one of the largest pantries in Northeast Bexar County. A service opportunity is to help sort and shelve food that is donated or received from the San Antonio Food Bank. This a great opportunity for Teens looking for a summer activity. Older adults may volunteer to make trips to the San Antonio Food Bank to pick up weekly orders to deliver to the pantry. Office help includes assisting individuals with intake paperwork and filling grocery baskets for individuals requesting food. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
