Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on February 9, 2009 |
GRASP operates a thrift store to provide revenues to support the agency programs for needy families. Volunteers are needed Monday to Saturday to operate the store, display goods, sort clothing, and prepare donated items for sale. Assistance is also need with unloading and picking up donated items. Many volunteers who enjoy a retail environment and interacting with the public find this opportunity attractive. Teens seeking community service or basic job experience make great volunteers! Small groups are also welcome to adopt a day in which they all work together. The help volunteers provide everyday makes a huge difference to the success of our programs and the services we provide! Some training is required on site. Individuals who are physically capable may volunteer to move furniture and heavier donations. Light duties include hanging and pricing clothing or working with housewares. This opportunity is sponsored by: GRASP
