Volunteer Opportunity Details:

StandUp for kids is a national organization with the mission of helping homeless and street children. We are attempting to grow StandUp for Kids in San Antonio. In order to do this we must build our volunteers and resources.

The most important need we have is volunteers. This is an opportunity to create and leave a lasting impact on an organization with an exceptional mission. We are seeking volunteers to do any and every aspect an organization like ours requires. These include, but are not limited to:
-Fund Raising (both structured organizational events or independent events)
-Marketing/PR (getting our name out to assist recruitment, outreach, and fundraising)
-Recruitment (Seeking new volunteers of all types)
-Outreach (Hitting the streets to find and help kids)
-Community Resource Development (developing relationships with other organizations to aid us in our goals)
-IDEAS to improve our organization

There are not many organizations that cater to homeless youth. We want to not only keep ours alive, but also grow it. We hope to hear from you!

We would like a 6 month commitment to a leadership or Outreach role.
