Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers will build a wooden 6'fence to secure property between buildings at our store at 417 East Aviation, Universal City. Another fence will be built around our patio/receiving area with a gate. This project will benefit our store by helping us secure donated inventory and prevent, littering and other unsightly situations. GRASP will provide materials, posts, most tools, depending on number of volunteers. The project may have to be completed in two days depending on the setting of the posts in concrete. The area is small, so the entire fencing project can be completed in one day.

Willing to work outside, some carpentry experience is helpful. Skilled with electric saw, and other tools. Will provide supplies for interested small group with some building experience.

Take IH 35North to Pat Booker Road exit. Travel South on Pat Booker for 4miles to intersection with East Aviation. Turn left on East Aviation and the GRASP Thrift Store is 4 blocks on the left. From Downtown, Take IH 10 East to Loop 1604. West on 1604 to fm 78 at Randolph AFB exit. Turn Right to Pat Booker. Left on Pat Booker 1 block, left on East Aviation, 4 blocks on left.
