Keep Austin Beautiful’s Clean Sweep
Join KAB and your fellow Austinites for Clean Sweep – Austin’s annual citywide cleanup event on Saturday, April 4th. On April 4th, KAB needs school project leaders to either select an area to cleanup OR lead a project at an Austin Creek that is in need of a cleanup. This is the perfect opportunity to cleanup your school, neighborhood or local creek. It is VERY EASY- KAB will provide everything you need to coordinate the project including tools, supplies, AND even recruiting & registering extra volunteers if you need them! After the cleanup, volunteers are invited to a FREE volunteer party with music, food, t-shirts, environmental education and kid’s activities, and more.
