Monday through Friday over 600 volunteers set out to help deliver mid-day, hot nutritious meals to seniors that are unable to get out to a nutrition center for lunch and are unable to prepare a meal for themselves. Not only are the volunteers delivering meals, but are also providing daily contact to improve a seniors' over all well-being.

Meals on Wheels is currently looking for meal delivery volunteers to help deliver meals so that we may stretch government and private funding so that more people living right here in Bexar County can benefit from this service.

Volunteer delivery driver's donate their lunch hour 2-4 times a month, between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Routes take an hour to deliver.

Our largest area of need is in the area of Christian Senior Services on Monday's and Friday's. We are also in need of Summer help and Pinch-Hitter Volunteers.
