Join a national organization whose on-the-streets outreach efforts find, stabilize, and assist homeless and street kids in their quest to improve their lives. StandUp For Kids seeks a Director of Public Relations. In this leadership position you will manage the public image and distribute information about StandUp For Kids San Antonio. Additionally, you will serve as the programs "voice" and interface with the media. General responsibilities:
*Prepares communication for the media highlighting specific needs or educating the public on issues related to runaway, homeless, and street-dependent youth
*Approves all public relations handouts, media releases, and other communications
*Submits quarterly stories about the San Antonio program to the National Office
Director of Marketing Needed
In this role you will work with other leaders of StandUp For Kids San Antonio to determine the marketing, communication, and PR needs of the organization. He/she will create and execute a marketing plan to inform and educate the community about StandUp For Kids. General responsibilities:
*Create presentations for various community programs
*Create and maintain a marketing calendar
*Coordinate marketing events
*Write articles/press releases
*Evaluate market effectiveness
