Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Kinetic Kids is looking for volunteers to assist with our Wheelchair Basketball program for children with special needs. It is an 8 week session.
Wheelchair Basketball

•Start Date: Tuesday, September 22
•Time: Tuesdays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
•Location: University of the
Incarnate Word; 4301 Broadway

Volunteers are paired with children and are responsible for keeping children safe and engaged in activity.

Volunteers must be 15 years old or older. Volunteers are not required to teach the activity or know specifics. We simply ask that you are comfortable assisting a child in following through with the instructors instructions and help keep the child attentive to task. As with all of our volunteer opportunities, we would like our volunteers to go through a brief training if possible. Please contact the volunteer coordinator for more information.
