Are you outgoing? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Are you able to speak to people in either large groups or individually? The San Antonio Children's Museum is currently looking for a few volunteers who would be interested and able to represent the museum at various community events. These volunteers will be responsible for setting up and taking down the museum exhibit, guide an art activity and provide information on museum programs and exhibits. The obligation would be 1 or 2 Saturdays a month depending on the event.
This person must be confident, outgoing, personable and affable. They should be well spoken as well as friendly. They must convey a spirit of fun about our museum and all the San Antonio Children's Museum offers. Also they must be mature and responsible. Volunteers will go through a training and orientation and volunteers 18 and older will be required to have a background check provided by the museum/ They should have access to reliable transportation.

From I-10
From the north, take the Santa Rosa Exit and turn east on Dolorosa St. (towards downtown).
From the south, exit Durango and turn north (left) on Santa Rosa and east on Dolorosa St.
Stay on Dolorosa Street. This street becomes Market Street.
Turn left on Navarro Street.
The San Antonio Children's Museum is located near the corner of Houston St. and Navarro Street. Walgreen's Drug Store faces the museum.
From HWY 281
Take the Commerce St. exit and go west on Commerce St. (towards downtown).
Turn right on Navarro.
