| Last updated on March 9, 2009 |
Help is needed in the Central Library Shelving Unit. Tasks would vary, but be related to the efficient shelving of books and other material that needs to be available to Library patrons. Individuals interested may check to see if their availability matches the need in the Shelving Unit. Please call the Volunteer Services Office for any additional information and/or to set up an appointment for an interview. Volunteers will receive training from Library staff. Volunteers would be expected to stand during most, if not all, of their volunteer time. They would need to be able to stoop, reach, bend, and twist. Familiarity with the Dewey Decimal System would be helpful. This opportunity is sponsored by: San Antonio Public Library
