Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Family Greeters welcome children and their families to the Center. Family Greeters are instrumental in offering emotional support as well as providing additional resources for families in crises. Family Greeters directly interact with the children by answering their questions, playing games, and watching videos with them. Often, it is a Family Greeter who makes the difference in alleviating a child's fears and promoting a positive experience at the Center.

Family Greeters must be 18 years of age, interview, consent to a criminal background check (allow 4 weeks), submit three letters of reference and attend a mandatory orientation. Family Greeters must respect and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
