Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Exciting volunteer opportunities are available for an individual volunteer or for groups of 12-15. Volunteers are assigned to one of Goodwill's 16 stores which are open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 Noon until 6 p.m. These hours make Goodwill an ideal place for busy people who want to make a difference in their community. Among the important tasks that volunteers perform are arranging clothing racks by color (an important task since we do not size clothing), keeping the fitting rooms clean and clear of hangers, organizing hangers and removing them from the cashier area, merchandising (if you like to create exciting displays, this is the task for you), stocking shelves, floor recovery ( return things/clothing to proper place). Goodwill Stores are a fast-paced environment and perfect for the person who wants to make a difference while having fun, meeting other exciting people and finding the bargain of a lifetime!

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers must first register at a Goodwill Job Help Center, call 924-8581 for the hours of operation and location most convenient to you. Two important requirements: a photo ID and social security number. We also request that volunteers/groups remain a minimum of two hours when reporting to volunteer assignment.
