Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The USO and Military Reception Center (MRC), located in Terminal #2, will be initially manned from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. As experience is gained on the arrival and departure patterns of military travelers the hours of manned operations may be adjusted. Odd hour support may be required for large groups of basic trainees and students. We are looking for volunteers to serve as USO hosts, provide information/referral services, and offer available snacks and drinks to eligible personnel. Volunteers will work 4-hour shifts, but can work longer if the volunteer desires. No less than two volunteers will be on duty per shift.

Volunteers will receive eight hours of training on hosting, airport terminal facilities, USO San Antonio history and services/programs provided to military members and their families, frequently asked questions, and duty responsibilities.
