Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis to help with guest greeting, information and referrals, administrative tasks, data input, food preparation and serving, and general housekeeping. Special programs such as "Letters from Home" and the assembling of care packages are suitable for individuals, groups, and retired citizens. Peak visitor period is each Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however, volunteers are also needed Friday and Saturday evenings, and during the week. At times volunteers are needed to assist with off-site support (USO marketing booth representative, troop deployment/redeployment activities, fund-raising support, etc.). Center hours: Tues.-Thur. 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Fri. and Sat. 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Business Office: Mon to Fri, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Each volunteer will receive an orientation on the services and programs we provide to military members and their families, including a walk-through of our center. A welcoming smile and friendly personality are the only requirements we seek.
