Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The volunteer will provide a safe and friendly environment for children visiting the center during our group counseling sessions. The volunteer will engage the children in games, crafts, reading and possibly homework. Groups are held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7pm, volunteers need to be available from 5-7:30pm. The groups are held for 8 consecutive weeks with a two week break in between each group.

Volunteers should have some experience working with a group of children of different ages. The volunteer should be able to bring new ideas and projects for the children to participate in (supplies provided).

All volunteers need to interview, consent to a criminal background check (allow 4 weeks), and give three letters of reference. Volunteer Orientation is required before starting your volunteer experience.
