Volunteers are needed as mentors, case aide, tutors for literacy program. Volunteers mentor the youth on character building, self-esteem and respect. Mentors assist the program by assisting in supervision of multi-dimensional activities during Spring Break and Summer recreational activities. The projects include group mentoring with youth from ages 10-17; special projects at the Juvenile Detention Center or Cyndi T. Krier facilities, literacy program or as a case aide with the Department. Completion of Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI)-Provided by the Department and Clear Criminal Background and Fingerprint Check. Training requirement-orientation orientation training is required and provided by the Department. This opportunity is sponsored by: Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department
