Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Habitat for Humanity volunteers gather together every Saturday at 7:30am (during Summer months) and work until 4pm (lately, it has been until 1pm due to heat). Every Saturday is a different adventure with plenty of learning tossed in. Other volunteer opportunities exist during the week and for special occasions, just call to make arrangements!

Volunteers must be 18 yrs or older, 16 - 17 yrs old accepted with parental consent. Many other opportunities exist for younger volunteers but not on the construction site and through special arrangements. For those on the construction site, we start every day with a safety talk, goals for the day, and a reflection. Training happens with your assigned tasks and are lead by the experienced crew leaders (introduced with the safety talk). We do ask that you call to let us know you are volunteering so that we don't have too many people and not enough work, and definitely enough water & lunch prepared for the amount of people to expect :)
