Habitat-Spokane Builders Surplus Store is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing significant, long-term financial support to Habitat for Humanity-Spokane through the sale of new and used building materials to the public.
Description:
Habitat-Spokane Builders Surplus Store provides a recycling option to homeowners, contractors, builders, and businesses. We accept donations of usable materials and household items (i.e appliances, cabinets, sinks, toilets, windows, etc.) from remodel jobs, new construction, business overstocks, and business closeouts. All proceeds support Habitat for Humanity-Spokane.
History:
Habitat-Spokane Builders Surplus Store has been in operation since January 2000. Since that time, we have diverted over 1,009 tons of material from the waste stream and have raised enough money to build eight houses at an average cost of $62,500 per house.
