We are always in need of volunteers to help with our cat adoption program! Our adoption center has 25-40 cats in need of care 7 days a week. Specific tasks include: scooping, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning, maintaining food and water, encouraging cats and kittens to be active, socializing shy kitties, and assisting with basic grooming needs. Our volunteers generally have high contact with the public, and are trained to answer basic questions about our organization and the pets available for adoption in our program. Our volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years of age or be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers are also required to complete an orientation before being scheduled to work within the program. This opportunity is sponsored by: Partners For Pets
