| Last updated on June 4, 2009 |
You receive professional training by crime-prevention agencies, police officers and officers with the Department of Corrections. Additional basic computer skills training is also offered to our volunteers. Play an active role in solving crime issues in your neighborhood using the COPS substation facilities. Spokane COPS is an internationally recognized non-profit organization. You will get inside information on the way many law-enforcement agencies operate. Please join us today! There are many levels of involvement with COPS. Depending on your area of interest, there are trainings from one and half hours to 12 hours required for some programs. All volunteers must fill out an application that allows for a criminal background check to be performed. Just check us out! Visit any of our 13 public shops, listed in the phone book under Spokane Police Department, or go to our website at www.spokanecops.org This opportunity is sponsored by: Spokane COPS
