Sri Atmananda Memorial School

Description:
Sri Atmananda Memorial School is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The school currently operates and funds a K-12 school showing the practicality of schools based on the KPM Approach to Children teaching method. Started in 1995, and adding a grade each year, the school graduated its first class in 2007. Currently there are fifty-five students, with enrollment to be capped at 200. An overall ratio of at least one teacher to every four students is maintained throughout the school.
History:
A non-profit organization, the KPM Institute, was founded in 1993 to support the KPM Approach to Children and Sri Atmananda Memorial School in Malakkara, Kerala, India. The Institute expanded its mission in 1995 to start a school in Austin.
